How to use a failed check
If the deliverable is unclear, open the applicable contract specification or OCC memo before relying on a 100-share assumption. If the deadline is unclear, obtain the broker’s process for the selected series. If the loss scenario does not fit available capital, revise the proposed size or structure before entering an order.
After the trade
Record actual fills and any change to the plan in the journal. A completed checklist for yesterday’s contract is not a review of today’s replacement. Reset it for each new position. Saved checks are local to this browser; clearing this site’s data removes them, and they do not synchronize to another device.
